1. Recording transactions (checks, deposits, electronic payments and deposits, etc.)
2. Reconciling checking, savings and credit card accounts.
3. Making any necessary journal entries for inventory, accounts receivable, fixed asset depreciation, accounts payable, payroll, etc.
4. Producing a set of financial statements and other supporting financial reports so you can see how well your business is doing.
5. Yearly, proactive tax planning session in the Fall to determine your estimated tax liability.
6. Other special bookkeeping tasks, such as filing state excise reports, managing accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll.
7. Consultation, setup and training on all aspects of QuickBooks.

These services are offered monthly, quarterly or yearly, depending upon your needs and budget. They are performed either offsite, onsite or remotely. Pickup of your financial records is available, and clients are encouraged to meet in a proactive tax planning session in the Fall to determine your estimated tax liability for the year.

Regular, periodic bookkeeping is offered through a flat fee arrangement that is debited from your checking account each month. The fee is arrived at by factoring in the volume of transactions, frequency of the work, complexity of the bookkeeping, and any other special needs you'd like to contract for. It's like having a CPA on a retainer basis to perform your accounting and tax work.
